PostSubject: Clan Day Out   Sun May 18 2008, 17:59

I think we should all do something over the summer holidays.

I was talking to mick about this and we were thinking that paintballing would be the best bet!!

But there's two paintballing places we can go; Bray or Glendalough.

Apparently, the one in bray is better quality ie. better guns and armour, but it has a higher age limit (16) so some of us might not be able to go (ME!!! Laughing)

The one in glendalough has a lower age limit (15?), but the guns and suits are lower quality. Like there's no backs to the masks. I know this makes shots to the head ALOT more painful and you get a blob of paint in your hair Laughing

So what do you guys think? Even if you have a different idea, post it up!! This might not be the best option for everyone.

The one is laois is class , but its a bit far away for all you dublin heads , i wouldnt worry about the age thing , anywhere i have went they have never asked so if they do say your 16 and you will be fine, we could all meet up somewhere and get a mini bus to place or something , if people have problems with transport

Hey guys, I heard that you are thinking about going paintballing.

If you are looking for a great day out, then try get to one of our S.O.Ds - Speedball Open days. We organize a few at different locations around the country. The next one is in newry on June 1st. It is the cheapest way to play paintball. €50 for a box of 2000 paintballs compared to €200 you would pay anywhere else.

If you just want to go out playing in the woods, then skirmish in Roundwood, not Glendalough is your best bet. If you are in the north Dublin side, give Barrage Paintball a go.

www.paintballer.ie/map for a list of all the places you can go paintballing.

Cheers,
Richie

Its free advice, you can take it or leave it Smile
