WoC is proud to announce its second BCB Event, taking place over the weekend beginning Friday 8th August, starting at 6pm (GMT)
Come and join us for 4 days of nothing but double kills, triple kills, head shots, and "God-Like" awards. There will also be plenty of on site activities all weekend, with video content and helpful members joining in for some co-operative play.
This years BCB will be followed by our first ever LAN event for WoC, and this event will form the basis of what clans are invited to attend the LAN event in Glasgow, but enough of that, lets get on with the details.
As any veterans of last years BCB will note, we played this entire event on Halo 3 only, for 48 hours solid. This year will be different in many aspects. Firstly there will now be more games, the games in this event will be the following:
* Call of Duty 4
* Halo 3
* Unreal Tournament 3
* Team fortress 2(*)
We don't hold back, so almost all game modes will be played during this event, with-in each game, from domination, to CTF, to hardcore, to warfare. (*) Team fortress 2 will be run for our large TF2 community, and will be independent from the other 3 events.
With so many gamers online and participating in this one community event, there will never be a moment of rest. That’s the idea. The more players from your clan that are participating, the better chance you have of your clan being active during the whole event, and getting those much sought after points. Heck, if you have enough players, you can play 3 clan matches at the same time, finishing all your matches early will have its own clear benefits, with the amount of other activities we will be undertaking on the weekend.
This event will be fast paced, clan match after clan match, against different clans every time, until the round is over. Matches will be decided on a home and away team basis for challenges, and all match listings will be available for all clans.
We will have constantly updated standings tables for each of the ladders, for all clans. View your rankings, your opponent’s rankings, or imagine your clan ranking, if you had entered the event.
We will have set up some ladders, in the same format as our event, but with the addition of a draw result being allowed. These ladders are there for you and your clan to get used to the system, for a guide on how to get started please click [update with link details]
Sign-ups close on the 1st August, to give us time to set-up the tables and to sort out match fixtures.
When the event starts, it is not possible to join up on the ladders, but we will have plenty of activities on the forum and plenty of spare players on the forums, arrange a match, a quick game to pass time, or get to taking screenshot's and making clips for the on site activities.

The new ladders will be on the popular games such as: Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, Halo 3, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Team Fortress 2 we also have 2 new ladders which are Racedriver GRID & Unreal Tournament 3, that's for the clans and new to this season we have single player ladders for FIFA 08 and PES 2008. We have ladders for everyone and if there is a game that needs a ladder you can post your opinions on the forums to get a new ladder
